Andaman & India Birding Tour – A Paradise for Bird Watchers
India Birding Tours was founded out of a love for birds. Around 2004, our founding member, Gaurav Kataria, embarked on a journey to travel throughout India and photograph every bird species he encountered. Over the years, we have grown, evolved, and expanded from a fledgling enterprise into a year-round Indian birding holiday tour operator with an enviable record of successful tours for birdwatchers, photographers, and vacationers from around the world. Very few other bird tour operators can cover India as thoroughly as we do.
Andaman Birding Tour

The geographic isolation of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been a boon for its avifauna. Andaman and Nicobar Islands boast 30 endemic bird species. Imagine spotting an Andaman Woodpecker or an Andaman Crake during your trip. Andaman birding tour helps you discover the region's biodiversity while ensuring that each sighting comes with a detailed and captivating account and story.

Birding in India
The Northeastern state of Assam is home to over 900 avian species, many of which can be spotted at the two UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kaziranga National Park and Manas Wildlife Sanctuary. If that isn't enough, Assam boasts India's largest stretch of tropical lowland forests, known as the Dehing Patkai, and its namesake wildlife sanctuary. Our Birding in India Tour covers it all.
India bird watching tour
India birdwatching tour offers so many choices that one can easily overlook a potential birding hotspot eclipsed by a popular tourist hill station nearby. One such hotspot is the Kaudia forest in Kanatal, Uttarakhand. Situated in the hilly mountains of the Garhwal Himalayan Range, the Kaudia forest trail is about 6 km long. Serious explorers often dismiss it as a picnic spot or a hiking trail for casual vacationers.
